Fixed Term or Secondment opportunity for 12 months
The Role
You will work at a national level and in collaboration with our partners. You will lead on our day to day activity relating to the national framework of pay and conditions of service for school teachers. This will involve our interaction with (among others) the Department for Education, the School Teacher Review Body, local authorities and the teacher trade unions. You will also play a key role in developing of our networking with academies. Our ideal candidate will have significant high-level experience in dealing with pay and conditions issue relating to school teachers.
The LGA is currently temporarily based in Layden House, Farringdon (zone 1), but will be moving back to Local Government House in Smith Square once refurbishment is complete in Autumn 2017.
