The role and requirements
The LGA pensions team are looking for an experienced LGPS professional to provide innovative training to elected members, local pension boards, scheme employers and administering authorities in navigating the increasingly complex pensions landscape now and in the future. If you have a good knowledge of the scheme, are comfortable dealing with legislation and have experience in the provision of successful and engaging pensions training then we want to hear from you.
The role is London based but will include significant amounts of travel across the UK and up to 2 days per week home working.
The LGA is currently based in Layden House, Farringdon (zone 1), but will be moving back to Local Government House in Smith Square once refurbishment is complete in Autumn 2017.
