The Local Government Association (LGA) is looking to recruit an experienced events support officer to join the Communications Directorate.
Working within the events team, you will primarily be responsible for supporting and maintaining the online booking events management system and creating individual event webpages to support the successful delivery of the LGA events programme.
You will be required to provide consistent, high-quality administrative support so accuracy and attention to detail are a must. You will need excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS Office and a range of software and bespoke event management packages as well as a good knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, enthusiasm and excellent organisational skills are essential.
Ideally you will be an experienced Events Force user.
