About the role
As a key member of the IT and Business Management team you will bring your skills and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint to deliver the LGA’s business requirements, continually ensuring the system is fit for purpose.
The role involves building relationships across the organisation and liaising with both business users and external developers to troubleshoot, evaluate, and develop the systems as well as working with the business on continual improvement. You will be expected to continually build your knowledge base in Microsoft systems in order optimise the LGA’s use of these systems, maintain user guides and deliver training to staff.
You will be working closely with the IT and Business Manager and IT Support Officer to support the implementation of all LGA IT projects. Communicating these developments and encouraging staff engagement whilst ensuring that they reflect the LGA’s policies for document management and information governance.
You will be expected to work flexibly in working across several systems, on different projects and varying priorities. In return you will be part of a dynamic team with a varied personal workload.
You will bring your technical and project knowledge expertise to improve our systems from day one. Have experience in working with business users and third parties to develop and deliver improvements to Microsoft systems in particular Dynamics CRM and SharePoint. Have knowledge and understand the implications of working with sensitive data. A flair for team working and managing a workload will be keys to your success and you will have exceptional skills in relationship building and influencing skills.
