The role and requirements

We are looking for a strong & experienced payroll individual who is able to work on their own initiative. We are seeking an individual who has ran an end to end payroll process and has strong systems knowledge, preferably Unit4 Business World (Agresso). We are a small team and require someone who is able to communicate confidently, and be an active team member with a willingness to get involved in a variety of activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day payroll processes including, but not limited to, processing the monthly payrolls including calculating payments for starters, leavers and changes, calculating statutory payments including Tax, National insurance Contributions, maternity pay and shared parental leave. You will also assist with month-end processes including RTI submissions and third party reconciliations and be responsible for weekly expenses processing. 

You will be focused on the detail, well organised and committed to providing a timely and efficient response as well as continuously looking for ways of improving systems and processes, therefore someone with a can do attitude is essential. The role will include some project work, therefore, we are looking for an individual who has the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
