This is an opportunity to join our dynamic team working on a number of high-profile programmes that support councils to improve care and health services. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who is passionate about the difference that councils can make to people’s lives. You will have excellent project and/or business management skills with knowledge of office systems and processes. You will be used to working in a complex and fluid office environment across multiple tasks, managing your time to meet conflicting demands. A proactive team player you will be confident communicating with internal colleagues and senior external contacts alike.

If successful, you will join our busy business support team, delivering project, administrative and financial needs across our range of programmes. You will be able to demonstrate experience of:

  • Supporting individuals and teams in the planning and monitoring of projects to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
  • Maintaining budgets, analysing income and expenditure activity as well as carrying out financial tasks including raising orders and invoices
  • Understanding office systems and ensuring compliance with corporate procedures e.g. finance and procurement
  • Co-ordinating national and regional events including pre and onsite support. These will be mainly in London but occasionally at venues across England.
  • Produce, format and distribute documents and presentations following the corporate style 
  • Organising and supporting meetings including, diary management, agenda preparation and minute taking

It would be an advantage, but not essential, for you to have an understanding about the services that councils provide, and adult social care and health in particular.
