Purpose of the role:

Livability has an exciting new opportunity in Wrexham supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes.

You will deliver Person Centred Support, enabling people to have opportunities and experiences to live life their live to the full.

You need to be able to work with people using Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support – supporting to maintain and promote independence, to safely access their community and engage in meaningful activities inside and outside of their home.

You will be supporting and enabling people to carry out everyday activities, promote structure and routine to increase their independence, and to maintain their home within personal living spaces and communal areas.

The role will also involve supporting individuals with personal and health care in accordance with individually assessed needs.

You do not initially need any qualifications or experience to join us as an Enabling Support Worker, but we will help you with the required registration to Social Care Wales within your first 6 months and we will pay the initial registration fee.  We only ask that you have the ambition to make a positive contribution to people’s life, are compassionate, kind and open to learning.
