Job Description

Every Day, A New Adventure Awaits

Support Worker | Lifelong Learning | Milton Keynes
Full time, 35 hours/week | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm

Tired of jobs that feel the same every day? This isn't one of them.

At MacIntyre, no two days look alike. One morning you might be baking with someone discovering a love of cooking; that afternoon, you could be out exploring Milton Keynes on a community trip, or cheering someone on as they try a new sport for the first time. Every day brings a fresh chance to help someone learn, grow, and feel proud of what they've achieved, and you'll feel that pride right alongside them.

Join our warm, energetic Lifelong Learning team, supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to build skills, gain independence, and thrive in everyday life.

Why You'll Love This Role

You won't just be supporting people, you'll be building real relationships. You'll get to know the individuals you support, understand what makes them tick, and use that to help them push their boundaries, try new things, and take charge of their own lives. Bring your own interests and hobbies to the table; you never know who they might inspire.

  • Three Vibrant Sites, One Big Community: Split your time across three Lifelong Learning sites in Milton Keynes, plus regular outings into the local community.
  • Activities That Matter: From cooking and arts & crafts to sports, music, vocational learning, and social trips, help people explore interests and build real skills.
  • Care With Dignity at Its Core: Provide respectful, hands-on personal care and support with hygiene and wellbeing, always led by each person's own preferences, choices, and comfort.
