Job Description

Looking for work that is truly fulfilling? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live more independently?

We're looking for Male Support Workers to join a close-knit team supporting four men who have learning disabilities and live within five bungalows in Flitwick. Everyone is in their twenties and thirties and likes to have lots of fun!

These are very busy households with lots going on, so the days fly by with no two days being the same. A typical day shift might involve supporting Ryan* to attend his college course or Luke* with his volunteering at a nearby café.

The social side of things is very important, with karaoke nights at the pub proving very popular and a big hit with the locals. Sean* loves to take centre stage and is at his happiest with a microphone in his hand.

These bungalows have a lovely, family atmosphere. New team members are always made to feel welcome and benefit from working alongside experienced colleagues who are quick to help with training and advice.

We have full and part-time roles available across a rota which includes days,  evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

*Names have been changed for privacy

Due to the nature of this service, we can only accept applications from male candidates.
