We are looking for a fun, energetic and flexible Deputy Manager to work along the Frontline Manager for 3 supported living services in Woburn Sands, Flitwick and North Luton. The role is varied with each day being different.  You will oversee the smooth running and delivery of our personalised services, in line with our vision: for all people with a learning disability to live a life that makes sense to them.
As well as deputising for the Frontline Manager, you’ll be managing rotas, mentoring, training and coaching staff. 
You will be working closely with the people we support, their families and both internal and external specialist services. You'll actively promote MacIntyre and develop links with the local community. You will put the people we support at the heart of everything you do.
This is a full-time role and you'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, sleep in’s and bank holidays.

About you

You will have experience of supporting people with a learning disability.  
You’ll be creative in your thinking and your approach to staff, the people we support and their families. 
You will be able to inspire and motivate your team, be well-organised, with a good understanding of budgeting, and be IT-literate.

You must be a driver with your own car, as you will travel regularly between services in the area, as well as to meetings, conferences and training.

Training and Development
