Are you a great copywriter? Do you have the visual design skills to complement your words? Then help us tell our unique story and reach new audiences.

As part of our small Marketing and Communications team, you will work with operational and specialist colleagues and with the people who draw on our support, gathering and sharing our stories. You'll take the lead for developing and delivering MacIntyre's online and offline content, maximising every opportunity to raise awareness of MacIntyre and the amazing work we do. 

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours a week. Based in our Milton Keynes office, we have currently adopted a hybrid working model, so it is possible to work remotely for part of the week.

About you

You're a gifted writer and editor, with a creative eye for detail, and an understanding of a wide range of both social media and offline channels. You'll have strong project management skills, able to work well to both planned and unexpected deadlines.

Technically, you will have experience designing content in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

You must be a driver with your own transport, as you will travel around the organisation, with some overnight stays.

MacIntyre is a national charity which provides education, care and support for over 1,200 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

We were founded in 1966 by the visionary parent of a child with disabilities and have been growing steadily ever since. We celebrate and develop everyone’s unique gifts, talents and contributions.
