Are you looking for a career change? Could you support people who have a learning disability to live the lives they want? No experience needed, we will train you!
As a Support Worker, you'll join the friendly team in Eastleigh, working with six adults who enjoy hobbies such as arts and crafts, getting out and about in the local community and keeping up with friends and family. You'll help them with all the usual things of life like shopping and cooking, and keeping their home clean and tidy. You'll go with them to medical appointments and help keep finances up-to-date. Some of the women require personal care.
You’ll take your turn working shifts on a rota basis covering days with the occasional weekend.

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development to become the best Support Worker you can be. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
