Get directions
Has the pandemic inspired you to consider a change in direction? Join us and work with some amazing people who have learning disabilities, helping them to live life on their own terms.
You'll join us as a Support Worker, assisting Richard* to live in his own bungalow in Flitwick. He is very sociable and is an an absolute pleasure to support. He makes you feel welcome in his home and loves to get to know people. He loves music and you will get the opportunity to support him to attend concerts. He has so much fun on these trips and it makes for a great evening out.
His days are busy too, he attends a regular horse riding session and really gets involved at the local MacIntyre learning centre. He owns his own car so if the day is quiet he enjoys going out for a drive (you must be a driver for this role.)
Whilst the role will initially focus on supporting Richard, we anticipate a new person will shortly be moving in to a neighbouring bungalow. So you may well get involved with this crucial stage as they settle in to their new home.
We currently have both full-time and part-time roles available. You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
