Are you looking for work that is truly fulfilling? Do you want a job where your influence will continue long after your shift ends? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live more independently?
Full and part time hours available.
You will be joining an experienced team supporting Rebekah, Amelia and Jayde* who live in their own home in Shrewsbury. They are both in their twenties and like to have lots of fun. It's a busy household with lots going on, so the days fly by with no two the same. A day shift might involve supporting Rebekah when she attends her regular riding session or going with Amelia to the local farm. They lead active lifestyles so sometimes its hard to keep up. Favourite activities include visits to the gym, swimming, bowling and the sports village.
Its very important that you support them to maintain regular contact with their families. You will help with day to day household duties like cleaning, shopping & cooking and with a bit of encouragement Rebekah and Amelia will get involved.
You will work on a shifts on a flexible rota basis.
