Are you a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker looking for your next move? Do you have experience supporting people who have a learning disability? Join us as Frontline Manager in Warrington
You will lead a team of support workers across a service hub supporting seven people in total. You will encourage and mentor your staff, completing supervisions and appraisals and ensuring they have all the training and resources they need. You'll work together to keep people's support fresh, creative and genuinely person-centred.
Of course there will be the practical details such as overseeing the rota, completing risk assessments and support plans. You will be responsible for the budget, and ensuring the sites are fully compliant with all regulatory requirements as well as our internal processes.
You’ll develop constructive relationships with external professionals, social work teams, families, and the local community.
You'll have overall responsible for ensuring any staff vacancies are filled promptly.
You will be joining a collaborative local management team, where colleagues share ideas, experience and advice.
What we need from you
You will have experience of supporting vulnerable people, ideally those with autism and learning disabilities. You will have experience of either directly managing or supervising a team.
You’ll be creative in your thinking and your approach to staff, the people we support and their families and be able to inspire and motivate.
You'll need to be well-organised, with a good understanding of budgeting, and be IT-literate.
You must be a driver with your own transport, as you will travel regularly between services in the area, as well as to meetings, conferences and training.
