Are you looking for night-time work? Could you support people with learning disabilities when they are restless during the night

About the role

We are seeking a Waking Nights Support Workers to join our very small and friendly residential home close to the city centre. You will be part of a team who support four adults aged 40 - 70 who have learning disabilities.
 
In this role, you will conduct regular checks on the four adults supported to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep. You may also need to help administer medication and provide personal care throughout the night. You will receive full training and have access to day-to-day help and advice from your manager and colleagues.


Relief Work

If you are unable to commit to permanent work we also have an opportunity for a Relief Night Worker.

The Relief (Bank) post supports the permanent rota staff by completing shifts that are vacant due to annual leave/sickness/training/unforeseen circumstances. As such, hours are non specific but the service will endeavour to balance the needs of the service against your own work/life balance as appropriately as possible. 



About you

Of course we welcome you if you've been a care assistant or support worker, but experience isn’t necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit.
