Award-winning MacIntyre are recruiting for a full and part time support workers at one of their supported living services in Milton Keynes. No experience necessary.
About the role
You'll join the team supporting George*, a gentleman in his early 50s , who lives in his own home in Walnut Tree. Day-to-day George enjoys a range of activities and hobbies including meals out, watching videos online, cars, going for walks locally, shopping and much more.
At home, you'll assist George with a wide range of different activities including domestic tasks, administering medication and helping him with his finances.
Your main focus will be to offer a consistent and stable environment to help George achieve meaningful goals and ensure he feels safe in his own home. At times, George may become anxious and require emotional support. We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your frontline manager and senior colleagues.
We're currently looking to cover day shifts (07:30 - 15:00 and 14:30 - 22:00.) You will be required to work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
