Are you looking for work that is truly fulfilling? Do you want a job where your influence will continue long after your shift ends? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live the way they want?
You'll join our friendly team of Support Workers at a small, homely residential service in the village of Bursledon, where we support six adults aged from 36 to 63. They have a wide range of learning disabilities.
You'll play a key part in making sure people can live as independently as possible, helping them be active members of their local community and joining in with their favourite pastimes and hobbies. You'll find yourself getting involved in arts and crafts one day, and going out to the cinema or hydro pool the next (once we're fully out of lock-down). The most important thing for the people we support here is that their staff are cheerful, positive and don't rush them. Personal care is required.
We have full-time (37.5 hpw) or part-time (20 hpw) opportunities. Shifts are worked on a rota basis to include days, evenings, nights, weekends and optional sleep-ins (1 per week). Shift times are 7.15am - 3pm and 2.30pm - 10pm.
