Are you looking for a night shift job that will fit in with your studies, or do your personal circumstances mean that night work is more preferable to you? If so, read on...
We have opportunities for both full and part-time Waking Nights Support Workers. You will be joining a new service where we support two people in their twenties who have learning disabilities. During the day, we support them with daily tasks including personal care, medication, cooking and keeping their home clean and tidy. We also help to support them with activities which interest them.
How does the above affect you? Well the people we support can't do any of this without a restful nights' sleep! As a Waking Nights Support Worker, your role will include conducting regular checks and providing personal care to the people we support. You may also need to help administer medication where this is needed.
There will be cleaning and admin duties to perform while on-shift, as well as assisting the people we support with certain activities before they go to bed. This can include reading, watching tv/films, making light suppers or meals and helping them to get ready for bed.
*Please note, due to the requirements of the service, we're only able to accept applications from female applicants.
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
