We are looking for a team of fifteen staff to join our new service in Wrexham. We have both full and part-time vacancies across a range of shifts.
You'll support four adults to move into their new homes. They have diagnoses of mild to severe learning difficulties, autism, communication delay, health conditions and complex needs. To provide the best possible support, you'll be resilient, fun, understanding, hardworking, consistent, confident and caring. You'll provide a wide range of support, which includes managing medication and finances, and personal care. You'll support people to get out and about (as lockdown restrictions ease), learn new skills, maintain relationships with family and friends, enjoy new hobbies, and live a life that makes sense to them.
You don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no two days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring - it’s something you’ll never forget.
As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.
Our home operates 24/7. Shifts are organised well in advance and worked on a rota basis. Shift patterns will vary including 24 hour shifts (including a sleep in), 12 hour shifts and a range of 6 - 8 hour shifts.. Both full and part time work are available.
You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.
