Are you looking for flexible hours that will suit your commitments? Could you support people with learning disabilities, helping them live life on their own terms?

You'll join us as a Relief Support Worker, working with three wonderful men aged 40 - 70 in their own home. They each have a learning disability.  You'll support them to enjoy their hobbies and interests, keep in touch with friends and family, and maintain connections in the local community. There is some personal care involved.

What does it mean to work on a Relief (Bank) contract? You'll be paid on an hourly basis to cover shifts for our regular staff when they are on holiday or if they are on sick leave. You may be offered shifts during the day, evening or night, and these may include weekends and bank holidays. We will work with you to make sure that the shifts we offer suit your circumstances.

We've found that Relief work often suits students, or people looking to make a career change who may not be sure social care is for them. It can be a great way to try this amazingly rewarding work to see if it's right for you.

Training and Development
