We have opportunities for both full-time (37.5 hours a week) and a part-time work (15 hpw). You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota basis which include days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
You'll join the team supporting seven people who have learning disabilities who live in their own tenancies in Flitwick. You'll support people to learn new life skills, keep up with family and friends, attend health and medical appointments, and enjoy their favourite hobbies and pastimes. You'll provide emotional reassurance and some intimate care. Some inviduals behave in ways that can be challenging when they are feeling particularly anxious, but we will give you all the training you need to help them manage their emotions.
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
