You'll be a part time Support Worker (15 hours per week) in the Warndon area of Worcester. You'll support adults with a learning disability or autism where you'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. You must also be available to cover some sleep ins.

This is a truly rewarding role where you'll support people to enjoy their favourite hobbies, both at home and out and about as lock-down begins to lift. You'll help them learn new things and live as independently as possible. Some people will require your assistance with intimate care or medication. Don't worry if you don't have any previous experience because we will provide you with all the training and back-up from our specialist teams and your colleagues.

Training and Development

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
