We have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our outreach team. No experience? No problem. Just bring your good kind hearts and we'll provide the training.
You will be supporting Craig* who is 25 years old as he makes the transition from our outreach service to supported living.. It's a very exciting time for Craig but he'll need support adjusting to his new surroundings. You'll be providing Craig with emotional support (ensuring he settles into his new premises ok) but you'll also be supporting Craigs everyday living needs, such as; assisting with medications, supporting with health and medical appointments, managing his home, through to the lighter side of life: bowling, swimming, going out for walks, listening to music, going into town, shopping or out for meals. (Of course at the moment people are focusing more on activities at home, but we all hope it won't be long before we can get out and about again as normal.) There is also some personal care involved.
The shifts are worked on a rota basis covering; Lates, earlies and some sleep ins.

You don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no two days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it’s something you’ll never forget.
If you are patient, kind and creative, we’ll teach you the rest so that together we can deliver the best possible support.
