Are you passionate about people? Can you empower people to achieve their goals? Are you interested in gaining valuable experience in an IAPT setting?
If your answer is yes, this is your opportunity to join our employment support team in Bromley. The Bromley Employment Team are an integral part of Talk Together Bromley, the borough’s IAPT service, providing specialist intervention for people with mild to moderate mental health needs as they journey towards work or education, or seek to retain existing employment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with adults with mental health needs who require support to gain or retain employment. You will carry out vocational assessments and compile an action plan with each individual and, working closely with IAPT therapists, you will support a caseload of individuals on their chosen route to employment, training or volunteering.
Educated to a minimum A-Level standard (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), you will have empathy with/and or experience of working with people who have experienced mental health issues and ideally have an understanding of the barriers they face in accessing employment.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work at our new and exciting Talk Together Bromley Service, delivered in partnership with Bromley Healthcare. Working as part of Talk Together Bromley will offer numerous opportunities for learning and development through strong team support and being part of an evolving, integrating team. Due to diverse populations in Bromley, this is a unique opportunity to work with clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
