An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with Talk Together Bromley. We are seeking individuals who have gained the IAPT Post-Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions and can provide evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem.  The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate high levels of written and verbal communication, computer literacy, and the ability to form good therapeutic relationships with people.

Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.  Please note:  if you are currently undertaking the PWP Post Graduate Certificate, you must be able to provide proof, from your academic institution, of successful completion of assessments to date prior to commencing in post.

Should we fail to receive sufficient applications from qualified PWPs, we may consider unqualified applicants for a Band 4 IAPT Worker post (£19,409 per annum plus Outer London Weighting (£3,553) – 6 month Fixed Term Contract). Such applicants will be given in-house clinical training, and supported to apply for the PG Cert Course in Low Intensity Interventions. Unqualified candidates will need a degree in Psychology or a related subject, and experience in mental health. A good knowledge and understanding of the IAPT programme for Common Mental Health Disorders, particularly the PWP role within stepped-care, will be essential.

Working as part of Talk Together Bromley will offer numerous opportunities for learning and development through strong team support and clinical supervision and being part of an evolving, integrating team.
