Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging role?
It's not easy, and it's not for everyone. But as a support worker, the rewards can be so much bigger than the challenges. You really will make a positive difference to people’s lives.
You’ll be joining our team, both locally and nationally and we’ll support you every step of the way.
Many of those who join us have no previous knowledge of autism or support work. Our fantastic induction programme and learning and development opportunities help all of our staff become autism experts.
We are looking for bank support workers in our residential service in Wellingborough. This service currently supports autistic men and women to engage with aims and objectives they have chosen. Our job is to enable the people we support to achieve their goals, wishes and aspirations, through encouragement, prompting, praise and empathy. We achieve this through our commitment to a person centred approach and by valuing each person as an individual.
We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a support worker takes bravery, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
You will be enthusiastic and up for a challenge and want to help the people we support.
You may have a personal connection, a desire to work with or real life experiences working with autistic people. If you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.
