About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible person to join our Samson team and support the operation of our Executive Jet Terminal.
The successful applicant will be required to oversee the smooth turnaround of aircraft, and ensure that VIPS and Business Executives are processed efficiently. No two days are the same as a Samson Operative, with a unique customer base and varied aircraft support requirements.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of excellent customer service. Providing excellent customer care, and handling aircraft safely and efficiently to the highest standards of safety (e.g. passenger processing, marshalling and re-fuelling of aircraft)
- Cooperate with other Operational Departments ,(e.g.Airside Operations Units) to promote a combined customer focused service, thereby promoting South Side ramp safety.
- Utilising multiple skills and training to employ a range of aircraft ground support equipment to meet customer needs.
- Support medical flights, playing a vital part in transferring patients to medical treatment, and the timely movement of life-saving organs to recipients.
- Handle a wide spectrum of aircraft from small to large business jets, plus helicopters and visiting military aircraft.
- Enthusiastically promote the Samson product portfolio by assisting the Team Leader in identifying and maximising additional opportunities to generate income.
- Support the Team Leader and Finance Department by ensuring that invoicing and payments are correct and collated in a regular manner.
Additional Criteria:
- Previous aerodrome operational experience would be a distinct advantage
- Experience of operating ground service equipment
- Experience of fuelling aircraft
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong and confident communicator
- IT literate and capable of operating under their own initiative.
