About the role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Passenger Services Duty Allocator (PDSA) to join our well-established Passenger Services Department. The successful candidate will be adept at controlling the Passenger Services Hub, the PSDA will Support the Passenger Services Duty Manager (PSDM) to plan and allocate the Passenger Services workload and be accountable for the delivery of the day-to-day Passenger Services Operation to customers, third-party airline and handling agent business partners. Please note that a full driving licence is required as there will be a requirement to drive and operate large vehicles on occasion.
A full training program will be provided by our in-house Training Team over a number of weeks to the successful applicants giving them full oversight of their new role.
Duties are not limited to but will include;
- Organise and arrange PSO/PSA activities airside and landside including airside coaching, PRM services, the use of the airports baggage halls and baggage belt system by third parties (i.e. Handling Agents/UKBF).
- Use the available resources in accordance with the needs of the business, to meet the Passenger Services standards, and to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) guidelines.
- Allocating of tasks via our Avtech PRM management system and ensuring all staff are using the system correctly
- Collaborate with PSDM on operational demands, staffing levels and other relevant matters
- To be fully proficient in the use of the PRM system and able to coordinate departmental operational work activity.
- To optimise the use of staff resourcing on a shift-level basis, through determining appropriate staffing levels and the cost-effective deployment of staff across the operation.
- To assist the PSDM to prepare necessary reports for ECAC scores, in readiness for reporting to the CAA.
