An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, organised, confident and highly motivated individual to join our busy Payroll Team based on site at Newcastle International Airport. This is a permanent position and we will consider applications from those seeking Full time (37 hours per week) or part time (30 hours per week). 

Primary duties of the role include: Maintaining effective procedures and processes to ensure accuracy of salaries, statutory payments and reporting in line with agreed SLAs. You will also be required to respond to any queries in order to ensure that staff receive the correct remuneration in accordance with legislation, policy and regulations.

We are looking for a candidate who has a keenness to learn new skills along with strong IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel and a high level of accuracy and time awareness. You will have excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail. In addition to this you will need to demonstrate you are customer focused and comfortable communicating verbally and electronically with colleagues who have queries in their pay

You will have experience within a Payroll team and knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and compliance requirements. Whilst certainly not essential, previous experience of using i-Trent payroll software would be an advantage.
