Overall aim of the role:

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual, who finds the pace and buzz of hospitality exciting, to join our wider team of Duty Managers.

The Duty Manager role entails delivering and overseeing exceptional standards of guest care as well as being responsible for the operations and day to day running of the facilities whilst on shift.

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager who:

  • Has leadership experience within a luxury spa or hospitality environment, as well as a positive, calm attitude and customer focused approach.
  • Is energetic, enthusiastic, and dynamic with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Will set the example in delivering exceptional service, whilst championing the Nirvana Spa brand.
  • Has a high level of responsibility and accountability with a hands-on approach to lead in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll do

  • Promote a culture of excellence in guest care through a warm welcome and a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Take ownership and ensure that excellent service is consistently delivered.
  • Work collaboratively with all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one another
  • Be flexible, show teamwork, passion, and flexibility in assisting with all departments in times of pressure
  • Perform duty management as detailed on the management rota.
  • Be confident and use integrity to deal with complaints quickly and efficiently and find suitable solutions to any problems that may arise.
  • Ensure the spa is always fully operative and H&S compliant, ensuring any issues are dealt with immediately
  • Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication.
