Overall aim of the role:
As the first and last point of contact for members and guests, the Gym 108 Reception team play a pivotal role in delivering a premium customer experience. This role requires a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanour, ensuring all interactions reflect the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will be efficient, knowledgeable, and confident in managing front-of-house operations.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and who take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

What you’ll do:
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Provide consistently high levels of customer service to all members and guests.
- Greet visitors in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Operate and maintain an efficient club entry system, ensuring all memberships are current and valid.
- Respond confidently and accurately to member queries, with in-depth knowledge of all club services and products.
- Process transactions and payments efficiently and accurately.
- Handle booking requests both in person and via phone, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Maintain clear communication with other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
- Manage phone enquiries with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
- Maintain a well-organised front desk and ensure records and booking systems are up to date.
- Support club operations by being flexible with shift availability, including occasional additional hours as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and presented to a high standard at all times.
