Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist
Nuffield Health’s Corporate Wellbeing Division is looking to strengthen our team of Health and Wellbeing Physiologists with the addition of a number of new Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologists.
INTRODUCTION TO NUFFIELD HEALTH:
Nuffield Health is Britain’s largest healthcare charity. We’re balancing our social values with strong business discipline to help the UK get healthy and stay that way. We’re all about great people, too – recruiting and nurturing talent in a supportive, development-led setting.
ABOUT THE LOCATION:
We are currently recruiting for Academy Health & Wellbeing Physiologists across numerous regions.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role of an Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist revolves around the delivery of our health assessments which are aimed at supporting our clients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals through effective lifestyle management. The individual will need to ensure that all of the elements related to this service are maintained to Nuffield Health’s high standards, and therefore the successful applicants will complete a five week training course when commencing the role.
We are looking for individuals with the relevant educational background to prepare them for the role. Therefore applicants must posses a minimum 2:2 in a Sport and Exercise Science degree, or an equivalent degree with the ability to prove they have studied human physiology, exercise biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition. The practical application of this knowledge is also essential; therefore a minimum of one year’s relevant experience is desired.
Assessment Centres will take place week commencing 14th October at our Head Office in New Malden, Surrey.
The proposed start date for these roles is Monday 18th November 2013.
