Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Data Analyst role plays a key part in developing and refining our reporting and analysis to drive better guest experience, increase bookings / visit frequency, revenue and helping deliver upon overall business strategy. As a valued member of the DAI (Data, Analytics & Insights) team, you will take ownership of stakeholder requests and deliver them end to end.

This role is based in our Manchester Support Office on a hybrid basis 2-3 days per week.





Key Accountabilities:

  • Own the design and delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards, ensuring they enable self-serve analytics and align with business priorities. Proactively identify areas for improvement and lead the implementation of solutions.
  • Take responsibility for analysing data from multiple sources (both digital and offline) to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Partner with the Business Information Manager and wider DAI team to drive the development, visibility, and impact of analytics across the business. Act as a champion for data-driven culture and innovation.
  • Support, and where necessary lead projects to develop new reporting solutions, from gathering requirements and designing outputs to collaborating with developers and data managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive data-informed decision making by translating complex data into clear insights.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and proactively supporting them in achieving key KPIs and business goals.
  • Take ownership of drawing conclusions and making strategic recommendations that influence business performance. Provide clarity, guidance, and training where needed to improve data literacy.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced Power BI development skills with experience designing and maintaining scalable dashboards and data models.
  • Proven experience using SQL (or similar coding language).
  • Prior experience working with insights and analytics in the hospitality/leisure or retail sector is essential.
  • Adaptable and pragmatic, able to manage ambiguity and shifting business priorities with a solutions-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail, delivering accurate outputs while working at pace in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective time management, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex data clearly and build productive relationships across teams.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, with a mindset for automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS365 tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
