Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Group Film Booking Co-ordinator will play a vital role in delivery of the Group Film Function Strategy. Working closely with the Film Booking Teams across all territories, you'll ensure programming tools, decisions, and processes are focussed on screen optimisation. Additionally, you will work closely with the Group Film Analyst with forecasting tools and insights across the group, to ensure the film team, and wider business, have the best available data for decision making.
Finally, you'll support the Group Head of Film Booking, Film Booking Directors’, and Chief Content & Partnership Officer, by building and managing insight packs and decks for strategic meetings/decision making.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract for up to 9 months.
Key Accountabilities:
- Research, compile and distribute information about upcoming films and competitor activity across territories
- Reporting consolidation and generating insight to support the decision making of CPCO, Group Distributor Relations Director, and Group Head of Film Booking
- Assisting with forecasting data and analytics
- Support with budgeting and forecasting process as required
- Support the alignment of processes and systems across territories.
- Support the day to day execution of film’s Group Studio Partnership commitments.
- Development and management of tools and insights, for enhancing targeted programming (Event Cinema, sub brands etc), and targeted formats (PLF’s 3d etc), across the group
Key Skills
- An understanding of film product and experience with the film programming process is essential
- Prior experience within a multi site film programming environment is essential
- Experience in coordinating projects, collating information and presenting/reporting it back is desirable
- Needs to be comfortable working with both data and spreadsheets, and creating PowerPoint decks
- Good organisational skills and ability to balance and prioritise multiple projects.
