IT Graduate

We are looking for bright graduates with a technology background to join our talented IT team.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated team, spending time with different disciplines given new challenges and responsibilities. Playing a key part in supporting our Cinemas and business users you will be working as part of the core team in

delivering change.

 

From supporting the implementation of new promotions to designing and developing new solutions this role will mean getting involved at every level of the  IT lifecycle.

 

You’ll play a key part of driving our business forward. Working  across different teams, supporting the development of new and existing projects you will gain experience of developing and modifying bespoke solutions , features and functionality, integration and technical support.

 

We are looking for a graduate within a computer science or other technology based discipline, with a passion for coding and scripting and a desire to learn. This role would suit a keen graduate, who is eager to learn about technical support and development. You should have some programming experience  but we don't expect you to be an expert. An interest in the Cinema industry would be ideal, along with exceptional teamwork skills and a demonstrable passion for learning.

The Role

The role will involve:

  • Working closely with the in house team to understand our systems Making improvements to existing in house applications , backend systems and databases

  • Creating reports and data access for business users

  • Shadowing team members in their day to day role

  • Designing ,Coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.

  • Research and analysis of system and program requirements

  • Documenting existing processes and specifications where necessary

  • Support the implementation of technical business solutions

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (2:2 or above)

  • Experience of coding or scripting

  • Demonstrable problem solving experience

  • Ability to work well as a team, but also to be self-motivated when working alone.

  • Willingness to learn the latest emerging technologies

  • SQL Server database experience

  • BI  and Data Analysis skills

 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of using a variety of programming languages & development technologies including some of the following: Java,  HTML,  CSS, Google Apps

  • Development of Tableau reports and dashboards

  • Experience in configuration management
