Job Purpose:

To lead and develop the strategy and plan that enhances the efficiency and profitability of our cinemas.  Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify more efficient, effective and guest focussed processes to make movies better.  ​​

Key Accountabilities:​

  • Develop Business plan and strategic framework for the productivity function in line with ODEON Vision and Brand values, defining the standards  and expectations for cinemas​​
  • Drive delivery of the business plan supported by team and cross-functional colleagues​​
  • Identify and drive opportunities to push productivity and take the guest experience to the next level
  • Analysis of key metrics including labour usage, guest footfall and  satisfaction, operating costs and other internal insights​​
  • Understand competitor performance, and innovation in the cinema, hospitality & leisure market​​
  • Identify ways to optimise cinema productivity during peaks and troughs in business levels, ensuring costs are controlled and guest experience is not impacted​​
  • Provide a test and learn environment and process to support trial, sign-off and implementation of new processes and concepts ​​
  • Manage the supplier relationship for key operational partners, ensuring continuity, efficiency and high standards of service at all times. ​​
  • Drive effectiveness of productive  ‘ways of working’ with the cross-functional teams in the business ​​
  • Lead and build team  capability, providing coaching and personal development and ongoing learning​​

Key Skills:​

  • A strong understanding of multi site/venue operations at a senior level​. A track record of leading large scale cross functional projects​​
  • Commercially minded with good financial analysis skills​​
  • Strong leadership, influencing and engagement skills​​​
  • Highly collaborative​​​
  • Analytical in approach with the ability to identify trends and create solutions​​
  • Results focused with a desire and ability to innovate, be creative and conceptual​​​
