We are looking for passionate General Practitioners (GP) to join our multi-disciplinary team at the Co-Located Service within St James Hospital.
The highly driven and competent post holder will be a clinician able to thrive in the urgent and emergency care environment and to really make a difference for one of the country’s most in need populations. The GP will be an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who loves general practice and wants to provide professional and clinical care to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients who present at St James Hospital, as part of a team of autonomous Practitioners. The post holder will carry out all the duties expected from a primary care general practitioner complying with the standards required by the GMC and RCGP, in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines and the companies values. This is a varied clinical role within the management of various patient groups.
About Primary Care Co-located Services
Our Co-Located Service is based at St James University Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. Our site operate on a 12 hour shifts daily, from 10am - 10pm, 7 days per week.
The available days are: Tuesday (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, half-day shift), and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (10:00 am – 10:00 pm).
For us, full-time is considered 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate should;
- Be a qualified GP
- Have a current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
- At least 1 year experience post qualification
- Have an MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
- Have sound knowledge of clinical governance
What we offer
- Salary: £95,000 - £110,000 per annum FTE (40) DoE (pro-rata for part-time)
- NHS Pension – 20.6% employer contribution
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time)

- Unsocial hours payment at 30%, Monday to Friday after 6pm and all-day Saturday and Sunday
