The role
We are pleased to announce that St Neots Health Centre has joined OneMedical Group team from 1 December; we will be continuing and building on the good work of the team. We’re excited about moving the service forwards and to what the future holds.
We have a vacancy for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse who is looking for the next step in their career. The Practice Nurse will play an important role in the future of the service and will be part of a wider team, who can be agile, innovative and future focused.
The successful candidate must have experience of patients with a variety of long term health conditions, be comfortable with change and keen to work in non-traditional care systems.
You will have a passion for supporting patients to be healthy by utilising your skills in health prevention, screening and early management of long term health conditions. You will strive to continuously deliver quality, viable and safe services.
Therefore, the successful candidate must:
- be a certified Registered Nurse
- have a current NMC registration
- be registered with the relevant professional body
- be a specialist practitioner qualified in Practice Nursing
- have clinical skills (cervical cytology, immunization, vaccination, ear care, minor surgery)
- have Knowledge of patients with long term conditions
- be familiar with the Patient Group Directions (PGD’s) and associated policy
