OneMedical Group was founded in 2004 on the idea that there is a better way to care for communities. Our mission of ‘Improving Lives’ is underpinned by our core values of ‘Putting People First, Working Together for a Better Future’. We are committed to NHS values and reducing health inequalities.
We believe in delivering services that improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities, making sure primary care, as the foundation of the NHS, can thrive. Our focus is on services that help our patients and their families adopt and sustain healthy behaviours, that improve health and quality of life, and lead to better health outcomes.
We are made up of GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Coaches, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and Mental Health Workers, with further support from our PCN including First Contact Physiotherapists and Drugs/Alcohol Support in house. Our non-clinician team is made up of our practice’s Business Manager, Senior Administrator, and Receptionist team, with support from Medical Secretaries and Clinical Coders working in a centralised hub.
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead ANP to join our friendly and supportive team at Wetherby Surgery and play a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day clinical operations of the service run smoothly.
Working in partnership with the Business Manage, they will report to the Senior Clinical Operations Manager and professionally will be accountable to the Director of NHS Services .
Utilising their in-depth Primary Care clinical knowledge, they will be able to translate legislative and operating developments into clinical service delivery designed to meet the needs of the patients and contractual requirements.
In addition to the standard clinical duties, the Clinical Lead ANP is responsible for clinical governance and quality at the surgery, driving continual improvement and thriving for excellence in patient outcomes and experience. The Clinical Lead ANP is to provide visible clinical leadership in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients.
Their time will be split between clinical sessions, whereby they will lead by example effectively treating patients, and clinical leadership and supervision sessions where they will provide clinical guidance, leadership and support to their team. Working closely with the NHS Service Delivery Leadership Team, they will support the Business Manager in the performance of their service including Key Performance Indicators, financial effectiveness, and quality schedules.
As with all Leaders within our NHS Services, the Clinical Lead ANP is expected to harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. To achieve this, they have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication skills, demonstrating the ability to empower, enable and bring teams together to improve patient care, outcomes and effectiveness.
The Clinical Lead ANP will take a lead role in identifying development needs of their workforce and supporting individuals to grow.
