About Corby Urgent Care Centre

Corby Urgent Care Centre offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. The centre is staffed primarily by our team of experienced urgent care clinicians with additional support from other clinical and non-clinical members of staff.

The team is made up of a mixed MDT including GP,s Advanced Practitioners, Nurses and Urgent Care Technicians. The team is also supported by the Non Clinical team. They all work together to create a positive and rewarding workplace environment for colleagues delivering a high-quality experience for patients.


Cottingham Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 2UR

The service is open from 8am to 8pm and we have shifts available from 8am to 9pm. 
The contracted hours will also include non-clinical practice improvement time.

The role

We would love you to be an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who loves general practice and wants to provide the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. The post holder will carry out all the duties expected from a primary care general practitioner complying with the standards required by the GMC and RCGP, in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines and the companies values. This is a varied clinical role within the management of various patient groups.

Supported by a vibrant MDT and underpinned by robust governance structures, we ensure that our clinicians have time to focus on care delivery and be truly accountable to their community. Clinical systems: We use SystmOne.
