About the role

The Supporter Services Team provides a timely, responsive, sympathetic and personalised service to new and existing supporters of the charity. You will work closely with the rest of the Supporter Services team, as well as others within the Parkinson’s UK fundraising community, to consistently deliver the best possible supporter experience.


What you’ll do     

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Building and maintaining relationships between Parkinson’s UK and existing and potential supporters through high quality communications

  • Processing voluntary income and associated data received at the UK office

  • Maximising the potential of each supporter, as well as how the charity can support them, working with the team and colleagues across the charity

  • Ensuring that the telephones are answered in a timely manner and provide a friendly welcoming service

  • Producing and distributing high quality thank you letters


What you’ll bring  

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of delivering excellent front line verbal and written communication

  • Efficient administration skills and attention to detail, with proven experience of working with complex processes

  • Proven experience of working with a relational database, and accurate data entry
