About the role
This post will coordinate Parkinson’s UK’s parliamentary and public affairs activities and the engagement of people affected by Parkinson’s in our policy and public affairs work. Identifying opportunities to influence policy development, legislation and service provision in line with agreed objectives on behalf of people affected by Parkinson’s
Skills, knowledge and experience
We are looking for someone with significant, successful experience of a parliamentary or lobbying role. You will also have experience of coordinating volunteer or service user engagement in parliamentary and public affairs activities.
Your excellent written and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels will be key to this post. You will also demonstrate great organisational skills with a track record in running effective political events.
