We have an opportunity for someone to join our team based in our Woodbury Commons Shop in Cherry Valley, NY as a Sales Supervisor, on a full-time basis. This role will give full support to the Management team in a supervisory capacity, with an emphasis on driving sales and performance in RTW, Shoes, and Accessories. To participate in the running of the shop in cooperation with the Shop Manager.
The Role:
- To be aware of and to maintain and increase sales throughout the year and achieve set financial targets.
- To effectively sell Paul Smith products and meet monthly and seasonal sales goals.
- To promote private shopping and wardrobe consultation.
- To ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
- To ascertain client information and ensure that customer service records are up to date in the CRM system.
- To assist the Shop Manager and ensure in their absence, that the shop has the correct levels of stock and that the shop is merchandised to the Company’s desired standard.
- To assist the Management Team, Sales Associates, and Clients on the shop floor in all matters related to tailoring and alterations, and to help maintain the shop’s alterations log book.
- To ensure that the shop is opened and securely locked and alarmed in the absence of senior management as required.
- To have a full understanding of the Company’s disciplinary procedures and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook along with Health and Safety Guidelines.
- To monitor any stock or till discrepancies and to take the necessary action with the Shop Manager.
- Accurately process Point of Sale transactions
- To have full product knowledge and to ensure that staff receive relevant seasonal product training.
- To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- To assist in any stock, merchandise and housekeeping related duties as requested by the management team. This may include duties such as shop merchandising and up-keep, inventory and stock takes, receiving deliveries, the ticketing of merchandise and any other duties as outlined by the management team.
- Any other related duties as outlined from time to time by the Shop Manager.
- Contribute to a positive, fun, professional, productive, and team-oriented store atmosphere
Essential Experience and Skills Required:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience of retail selling in luxury fashion
• Experience in providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work towards weekly sales goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
