Homes & Safety – Responsive Repairs Team

About the role

We are looking for a Fencer to join our Repairs Team, working as part of a team you will be providing responsive repairs, building maintenance and improvement work to Plymouth Community Homes housing stock.

You will need a primary trade experience of fencing to include installation, repair and maintenance of timber, chain-link and other fencing types with secondary trade experience in groundwork, brickwork and labouring.

You will primarily work in a team however on occasion you maybe required to work alone, you will undertake duties on building maintenance and improvement work including repair, replacement, installation, removal, demolition, cleaning and making good as appropriate.

You will ensure works are of the highest quality, efficient and good value for money for our customers.

You’ll need:

  • Strong experience in fencing — timber, chain‑link, and other types
  • Secondary skills in groundwork, brickwork or general labouring
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Experience working in occupied properties
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service
