About the role
We’re looking for a Commercial Gas Safe Engineer to maintain and repair heating and plumbing systems in both Commercial Plant rooms and Commercial units across Plymouth. Your work will range from:
- Service, maintenance and repair of commercial gas appliances (e.g., boilers and plant room equipment,).
- Conducting gas safety inspections and issuing certificates.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs within SLAs.
- Working on associated systems such as plumbing, pipework, hot water systems and control systems.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance across a range of commercial sites.
No two days are the same — and you’ll have the reassurance of stable, consistent work with plenty of variety.
You will also be required to join our on-call rota — an excellent opportunity to increase your income.
Essential Qualifications

- City & Guilds NVQ 3 (or equivalent)
- Gas ACS certificates, including:
- CCN1
- CENWAT1
- HTR1
- UDHW
- CKR1
- MET1 & MET4
- CPA1
- CIG1A
- CODNC01
- ICPN1
- TPCP1
- TPCP1A
- CLE1
- CCLNG1
- WRAS
- A full, current driving licence
