Job Description

Using Insight to Improve Homes and Lives

Are you interested in how accurate data supports sound commercial decisions and long‑term investment planning? Do you enjoy working with information that helps organisations balance financial sustainability with positive outcomes for people and communities? If so, this could be the role for you.

Please note: This is a temporary position of up to 9 months.

About the role

We’re looking for Commercial Data Officer to join our Commercial Team, supporting the effective management and performance of our property portfolio. This role plays an important part in providing high‑quality data and insight to inform commercial planning, budget management, compliance monitoring and investment decisions.

Working within an established Asset Data function, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in commercial, finance and asset teams. While experience in housing or property is beneficial, it isn’t essential. What matters most is your ability to collate, manage, interpret, and display data accurately, supported by strong IT skills and a keen eye for detail.

This role could be a great fit if you:

  • Are highly detail‑focused and organised
  • Able to collect data sets
  • Have strong IT and data analysis skills
  • Are comfortable working independently and managing multiple workstreams
  • Comfortable in communicating clearly with customers and a range of internal stakeholders
  • Work well as part of a team and builds effective working relationships
  • Are committed to learning and continuous development
