We are currently looking for an administrator to support the On Board Services Manager on our Dover to Calais route. This role will work with the OBS Manager to deliver the Safety, Commercial, Financial and Quality objectives set for the department on the vessel. You will be working with team to make sure that the vessel is compliant with policies and procedures as set by the Company, Government and Maritime Legislative bodies. You will also make sure that the vessel is abiding with the Company's Fleet Regulations and the captain's standing orders.
As part of the day to day role you will be maintaining the Crew Management System, maintaining the back office functions and there will also be some work around looking after the manager functions such as till checks and cash lifts. You will also be tasked with identifying all statutory training requirements for team to make sure they are compliant for seafaring duties and you will also get involved in some of that onboard training.
This is an incredibly varied role where two days will not be the same. You will be living on the vessel during the weeks that you work, joining the ship at the start of your working week and leaving at the end of the working week. As part of this working arrangements all of your accommodation and meals will be catered for.

- A strong administrator within a customer facing environment such as retail, hospitality or travel
- Good experience of IT systems such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines
- An understanding of compliance and how to manage it effectively
- Good customer service and team building skills
