The role

We are currently looking for a CRM Manager to help support the digital marketing team to help drive the Direct Marketing and Email activities. This is a pivotal role within the team as one of our most successful digital marketing channels is based around email marketing. This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of all of our DM and email activity. This will involve working closely with our data agency to manage the DM contact strategy and making sure that it is as effective as possible during the full customer journey.

You will be managing one person and drive the general campaign marketing alongside the trigger marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the customer service and project teams to make sure that customers are receiving the right number of emails that will not overwhelm them but also keep brand recognition at the forefront. Working with the data agency you will also develop audience and customer segmentation models to allow the campaigns to be as successful as possible.

You will also have creative input into the email content, but you will work with partners to make this as innovative possible. It is important that you keep abreast of all technology and IP changes to make sure that delivery rates stay high.

We are all working within a hybrid model with 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.

The person

So what skills are we looking for?

- Experience of using Direct Email systems such as Mailchimp or similar

- Previous experience in managing complex, multiple email campaigns targeting a wide range of groups and customers

- A strong background in writing HTML including build emails, amending templates and copy

- Experience of managing teams and agencies

- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage a complex workload with conflicting priorities.

- A good head of data and the ability to use data to make decisions.
