We are currently looking for a compliance officer who will be responsible for our financial compliance and associated regulatory risk across the organisation. The role will encompass all of our anti- bribery, fraud, anti- money laundering and related regulatory and legal obligations. You will make sure that all appropriate policies, procedures, systems, processes and training are in place and provide guidance to staff on all compliance including due diligence.
You will be the first point of contact for the both the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority making sure that all requests, reports, complaints and breaches are compliant, timely, accurate and appropriate. The role will also involve the design and delivery of a proportionate risk based financial related compliance framework of Key Risk Indicators.
You role will also involve the monitoring of the gifts register, conflicts of interest and confidentiality statements. The GDPR and data protection guidance will also be your responsibility making sure that there is a robust data privacy and security in carrying out the role.
This is a hugely important role for the organisation making sure that all compliance guidance is being followed and you are will be our subject matter expert around new and upcoming compliance legislation.
We are currently working within a hybrid work pattern, with three days in the office in Dover and two days from home.
So who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working within the financial services or the payments industry
- Experience of KYC/ AML/ TCF and designing or implementing compliance frameworks
- Previous experience of dealing with regulators and influencing senior management
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Cleared approvals from relevant regulatory bodies.
